Derek Wilder Executive Director

DEREK WILDER, PhD, is the Executive Director of Lives Transforming Group, Inc., a Christian counseling ministry focused on personal transformation, and the author of FREEDOM and Minds on Fire. Wilder has a Master of Theological Studies, an MDiv in Pastoral Counseling, and a PhD in Biblical Exposition. Wilder's scholarly focus lies in Pauline studies, with his doctoral dissertation specifically examining the ontological implications present in the eighth chapter of Paul's Epistle to the Romans. Wilder, an adjunct professor, founded Convergence Therapy, integrating cognitive therapy and grace-based theology into the accredited college course: “Thought Life & Spirit Growth.”

Wayne Jacobsen – very nice synopsis of what you're doing and about. Really liked it.

Good bully….guilty. Experiencing freedom after being nourished by Christ is exhilarating, isn't it guys? Opportunities every day seem to abound for us to put into practice what we hear with our ears, absorb with our minds and then manifest through actions as He transforms. Nourishment is certain to cause healthy growth. I'm still enjoying Mk 10:21 ~ Jesus looked at him and loved him. I am so glad He looks at me and loves me into detaching from everything but Himself….little by little, He's so specific with each of us. Great truths from the Master, Bonhoeffer and you two.
